The first-of-its-kind educational program focused on mineral balancing through canine hair tissue mineral analysis (C-HTMA).
For the first time, Lisa Pitel-Killah is bringing her extensive research and clinical experience in animal HTMA to a live, interactive learning environment designed specifically for practitioners working with dogs.
The Canine HTMA Specialist Pilot Program is more than a course, it is the opportunity to be part of the development of a new standard for understanding mineral patterns in dogs and applying that information to individualized nutritional and wellness strategies.
Through live education, case studies, discussion, and practical application, participants will learn how to better understand canine mineral patterns, recognize imbalances, connect those patterns with nutritional considerations, and develop thoughtful approaches to mineral balancing.

We’re Also Looking for Future Canine HTMA practitioner Mentors
An important part of this initiative is building a knowledgeable community of professionals who can support practitioners beyond the classroom.
We are specifically looking for individuals with a strong background in clinical animal nutrition, veterinary medicine, animal wellness, or related fields who are interested in taking their education further.
Those selected for additional mentorship development will have the opportunity to continue studying canine HTMA at a deeper level, develop advanced interpretation skills, and learn how to thoughtfully support practitioners with animal test interpretation and individualized protocol considerations.
The goal is to develop a select group of highly knowledgeable Canine HTMA Practitioner Mentors who can help practitioners bridge the gap between learning how to read an animal HTMA and confidently applying that knowledge in practice.
